Bullfrog Blues Band

Formed in 2001, this local 5 piece band has created a loyal following in many pubs and clubs throughout the Marlborough and Swindon area.

The band’s repertoire of rhythm and blues covers features numbers by world renowned artists such as B.B. King, T-Bone Walker, Muddy Waters and Eric Clapton, together with equally enjoyable songs by less well known and forgotten songwriters like Keb Mo and Little Walter.

An earthy delivery of vocals by front man Ricky Volcano is complimented by backing and lead breaks from Simon Rhodes (guitar) and Colin Field (blues harp) whilst the whole session is underpinned by the driving rhythms provided by Andy Hunter (bass) and Steve Holley on percussion.

Guaranteed to get all the feet in the house tapping, there’s something for everyone at their performances!
